ALRA Engineers Tee Off at the 45th Annual CIC Golf Classic

Ralph Suazo our Executive Vice President and Robert Gizzi our Senior Vice President took to the greens at the 45th Annual Construction Industry Council (CIC) Golf Classic held at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Scarborough, New York. With challenging fairways, camaraderie, and picturesque views, it was a day of swinging clubs, sinking putts, and celebrating our industry connections.

2024 New York State Department of Transportation Region 11 Mini Olympics

ALRA is proud to have participated in the NYSDOT Region 11 Mini Olympics! This event, a cherished tradition from the 1990s, was brought back to life this year, and we couldn’t be happier to have been a part of it.
The Mini Olympics is more than just a competition – it’s a celebration of teamwork, camaraderie, and the spirit of collaboration between State and Consultant team members. We’re thrilled to report that the event was a resounding success!
From the smiles on faces to the laughter in the air, it was clear that everyone had a fantastic time. The turnout was impressive, and we’re already looking forward to an even bigger crowd next year.

ALRA’s Long Island Branch Breaks Ground on a Roadway Reconstruction Project in the Town of Hempstead

June 2024

Town of Hempstead, Department of Engineering 2024 Roadway Pavement Reconstruction, Contract PW#7-24.
We are currently providing construction inspection services for a pavement project under an on-call contract for the Town of Hempstead. The first assignment is for road improvements at Cornflower Road Area in Levittown, NY. Our inspection team is responsible for tracking the contractor’s progress and construction schedule, along with ensuring that all work is progressed in a safe manner and in accordance with the contract plans and specifications.
